A campaign to launch IAMMI – a Kiwi brand on a mission to teach personal resilience through everyday routines – has debuted via a collaboration between MATES Agency, Supernormal and Hannah Design.
Co-founded by Mimi Gilmour and Lucinda East Kennedy, the producer of skincare products, has officially launched its appeal for funding on Kickstarter alongside this new digital campaign. Backers from around the world can help fund IAMMI’s first product range from $ 5.
IAMMI’s NZ-made skincare products aim to repurpose the time you spend on skincare into a resilience building routine, alongside an app that tracks skin and mind health. The new offering is filled with resources and further learning about all areas of life.
IAMMI is inspired by the journey Gilmour has been on with her daughter Olympia, who was born with a significant brain injury five years ago. It’s Olympia who really steals the show in the emotive 2-minute video Supernormal has produced for IAMMI. Set against a simple yet powerful track, Mimi narrates the Laura Sargisson-directed piece, which showcases the beautiful simplicity of the ritual of skincare.
For IAMMI’s brand direction Hannah Souter of Hannah Design started by anchoring the colour palette with yellow (Olympia’s favourite colour), and then building it out to represent the strong, bold and unexpected. The brand’s stacked logo denotes the building blocks of resilience.
