Good magazine welcomes Wendyl Nissen to the fold

ICG Media-owned Good magazine has welcomed industry veteran Wendyl Nissen to the fold as Sustainable Living Editor.

An ex-journalist, -broadcaster, and -Editor of Womans’ Day and The New Zealand Women’s Weekly, Nissen will now be a regular contributor to the award-winning lifestyle and wellbeing publication.

Author of 11 books, (most recently Natural Care), Nissen lives in the Hokianga with husband Paul and her beloved dogs and chickens. She has developed an idyllic and enviable way of life based on an old-fashioned model of growing and cooking her own food, avoiding artificial products, and doing her best to avoid letting unnecessary chemical cocktails into her life.

There’s a lot going on for the magazine right now, as the team has just completed an office move from Mt Albert to Mt Wellington, with the magazine having undergone an extensive design revamp.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Wendyl on board – she has literally written the book/s on sustainable living! We know that our readers are going to love what she shares, and see her as the perfect fit for the Good brand,” says Sarah Tuck, Editorial Director of Good.

Good magazine is published six times a year with content that resonates with conscious-consumers, driving positive conscience-living.

A little further down the offices at ICG Media, the Dish team also have much to celebrate – winning the isubscribe 2021 People’s Choice Award for the second consecutive year at the 2021 Webstar Magazine Media Awards.

At a time when Omicron is ramping up and meeting production schedules is harder than ever, Dish Editor, Tuck, is delighted with the good news.

“There is no better reward for hard work than knowing what you’re creating is resonating with the reader – as evidenced by winning this award for the second year in a row, while Good was also a finalist. We’re stoked!” she says.
