Proximity NZ launches CXM division, appoints Kate De Marco and Nathalie Philippsen as Co-Directors

Many businesses suffer financially from poor CXM due to disconnected and under prioritised approaches to their strategies. Recognising these issues, Proximity NZ has launched a new CXM division to the business.

Focused on helping New Zealand businesses unlock the value in their customer experience in every interaction, Nathalie Philippsen, previously a Senior Business Director at Proximity NZ, and Kate de Marco, formerly a Planning Director at Proximity NZ will head up the division as Co-Directors.

With over 30 years of experience in data-driven marketing between Philippsen and de Marco, the new division is well-positioned to help clients shape CXM roadmaps that identify vital interactions and solve complex business issues.

“A lot of businesses aren’t aware of how customers actually experience their business. Using consultancy methodology means we get to the real underlying issues impacting customer and business value. For the team, it is all about creating CXM strategies that are actionable and ongoing to drive real change and deliver better results – a method we call Intelligence at Play,” says de Marco.

Working closely with Proximity NZ’s Director of Technology, Director of Strategy and Chief Creative Officer, the new CXM team is excited to help businesses transform their approach to CXM in a fresh, attainable, and value-driven way.

“Unlike traditional advertising or direct marketing agencies, our focus isn’t solely on communications. We are looking wholescale at all elements impacting the customer experience from business processes, data and tech right through to people,” says Nathalie Philippsen.

Currently delivering CXM strategies across Spark, ANZ, and Tourism NZ, the new division is poised for a significant year of growth.

Chris Pescott, CEO at Proximity NZ, says, “Since launching Proximity NZ, our proposition has always been to harness the power of intelligence and combine it with the creative heart of our business to deliver more value for our clients.”

“It’s awesome to see this new division come to life and already achieve exceptional results for many of our core clients who are looking for sustainable business growth in a time of constantly changing business conditions.”

Based at 318 Richmond Road, Proximity NZ works with many of New Zealand’s biggest brands, including Spark, ANZ, Tourism NZ, Mazda, Frucor, Fidelity Life, Latitude, Kiwi Property, Pink Batts and House of Travel.
