Auckland based creative agency, Crave Global, continues to grow its presence in experiential and event marketing with the appointment of a new experiential Account Director.
Miky Ryken joins the team after six years at Mango Communicaitons Aotearoa, bringing with her a toolkit of enviable skills that will continue to bolster the integrated experiential offering at Crave.
During her time at Mango, Ryken worked on a variety of client campaigns such as McDonalds Big Mac 50th Anniversary, H&M VIP store openings, Samsung S21 Greatest Unboxing, Specsavers, ghd, Tip Top x Whittakers Happimess pop up and the Emersons Tiny Pub activation.
Ryken adds more expertise to Crave’s experiential team, headed up by industry leader, Georgina Otto, and will manage clients such as Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray, Wither Hills and The Lightship.
Ryken, who has a passion for driving consumer connections with brands, says: “Crave has been carving a real name for themselves in the experiential space with campaigns such as Wither Hills #Sharebeautiful, Ola x Zambesi and world first activations such as The Lightship.
I’m over the moon to be part of the Crave Global team – with their strategic thinking and creative approach to experiential, I believe they are really trying to push what is possible in the New Zealand market. I had to be part of this team and I’m excited to be part of the Crave story.”
Crave Global Managing Director, Daniel Hopkirk, says Ryken has an impressive portfolio of experience and combine that with her passion for experiential marketing, it’s a perfect fit for Crave.
“Ryken comes to us with an extensive amount of knowledge and an envious reputation in the experiential and events space, and as Crave continues to grow our integrated experiential offering, we’ll be leaning on her talents as one of the driving forces behind this part of our business. Coupled with her energy and positive attitude she is a fantastic addition to Crave. We count ourselves lucky to have Ryken as part of the Crave team,” says Hopkirk.
Ryken joins an expanding team with Crave Global having recently appointed two key leadership roles within their digital and experiential teams.
“Finding exceptional talent is always a challenge so we’re thrilled to be able to attract the calibre of the people that make up our passionate team. Crave is continuing to grow and a big part of that has been expanding our integrated service offering across digital, experiential, PR, and design to provide our clients with creative solutions for a variety of their marketing needs.
“We’re looking forward to creating great work that delivers exponential growth for our clients. Our people continue to be the magic that drives this,” concludes Hopkirk.
