Wellington-based indie EightyOne has announced two internal promotions. Penny Hobbs to the role of Head of Client Service and Brendan Sturrock to Head of Strategy.
It comes on the back of five new hires for the Wellington shop and a bunch of new wins which will be announced in due course.
Managing Director, Matt West comments: “We’re growing, so needed to rethink our structure. The talent between these walls is stronger than been so promoting internally was a no-brainer. Penny has a great combination of efficiency and passion, mixed with some outstanding leadership qualities. Whilst Brendan seems to be chairing Mensa here in NZ. His mind is behind all of our best work. He seamlessly jumps between data, insight and storytelling. Good goalkeeper too.”
