AUCKLAND, Today: NZ-based online private school Crimson Global Academy has relaunched its brand, with creative input from Previously Unavailable’s James Hurman and Phoebe Devine.
CGA is led by John Morris ONZM, who was headmaster at Auckland Grammar for 20 years. The school aims to increase access to high-quality education for students across New Zealand, and has already delivered $ 600,000 in scholarships to Kiwi students.
Former PM Sir John Key, former Australian PM Kevin Rudd, Icehouse and US News are all advisors and investors. CGA enrolments are now almost at 1,000 students from more than 35 countries from the NZ to Kazakhstan
CGA, launched in NZ by Harvard grad Jamie Beaton, is a sister arm of Crimson Education, the global organisation helping students get into the world’s top universities.
“Our creative objective was a visual brand that reflects academic tradition as well as ambitious innovation in education technology. sitting alongside institutions like Stanford, Harvard, Oxford, Google, and Uber.”
Auckland-based CGA chief marketing officer AJ Tills said: “To date, CGA has leveraged the Crimson brand, and benefited from the halo effect of our achievements.
“Our creative objective was to conceive a visual brand that reflects academic tradition as well as ambitious innovation in education technology that challenges the status quo – sitting alongside institutions like Stanford, Harvard, and Oxford and tech companies like Google, Meta, and Uber.
“We’ve designed a minimalistic logo, built off the shield motif and heroing ‘CGA’ – a term our students use to describe their educational accelerator.
“We can keep using our full name where we choose.”
