Chemistry team expands with five new hires

With new business wins, and to meet the growing needs of clients, independent brand response agency Chemistry has welcomed five new hires across client service and studio.

With a firm focus on further growth, digital creativity and client needs, Chemistry has appointed internationally awarded Haylee Killip as Business Partner. Haylee steps into the new role from DDB Aotearoa, where she worked as a Senior Business Director on Lotto NZ and AA Insurance.

With a strong background in business development, including starting up and running her clean skincare brand, Lab of Less, Haylee’s experience will be invaluable within Chemistry’s Client Service and Planning teams.

“I have admired Chemistry’s work from afar for some time now and look forward to working alongside some of the most innovative people in the industry, with exciting challenges and opportunities for growth ahead of us,” says Killip.

Rounding out the Client Service team in Account Manager positions are Sara Lowrie, joining from NZME where she worked as a Digital Ad Campaign Manager, Katie Hunter, previously at AA New Zealand and Tayla Brewer, formerly an Accounts and Admin Assistant at Travel Lab and Creative & Brave.

Darryl Dustan, formally Digital Designer at TRACK, joins the Studio team as a Senior Graphic Designer, where he will add to the already impressive team of designers and editors.

Joint Founding Director of Chemistry, Joseph Silk, says with lots of client work on the go, the team is “thrilled” to welcome the new talent as the business grows.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the very talented Darryl into our studio team, who comes highly recommended with the addition of a great sense of humour, as well as Haylee, Sara, Tayla and Katie, who we know will fit right in with our first class Client Service team.”

The agency continues to hire and grow after recently picking up new work with TAB NZ and winning the Huckleberry NZ, Red Rat, and McKenzie and Willis accounts.

All new hires are effective immediately.
