AUCKLAND, Monday: Full-service Freemans Bay indie Republik has appointed account director Julia Davies to bolster its account service team.
Davies returned from four years suiting in the UK, working for Rapp London, Karmarama and LADbible before returning to NZ during the first lockdown in 2020.
Back home, she took up a role as AD at Federation working on L’Oréal, Auckland Unlimited and Auckland Council, before heading back to university to complete her master’s degree.
She joins Republik to lead and take over account service responsibility on the Selleys, ThinkSafe, Mr Rental and Active Healthcare’s accounts.
“We’ve got some exciting projects ahead of us, so we’re stoked to have Julia on board.”
“Republik’s a fantastic agency made up of a team of really talented people that like working hard and having a lot of fun along the way,” she says.
“They’ve got an impressive client portfolio that provides me with a great variety of work and challenges. There is so much opportunity to produce amazing work that will move the needle for our clients, and that’s what I love.”
Republik Director, Paul McNamara says. “It’s always good to bring on a new Republikan, but to get someone with Julia’s experience and ambition is a real bonus. She brings an abundance of talent and leadership that will without doubt benefit our client partnerships and the brands we work with.
We’ve got some exciting projects ahead of us, so we’re stoked to have Julia on board”.
