HONG KONG, Today: A lifelong non-smoker – who now works for global tobacco giant Philip Morris in New Zealand –has been appointed a judge at this year’s Campaign Agency of the Year.
Sarah Slawson is head of marketing & digital at the tobacco giant in New Zealand.
“Within this role, I have established a marketing & digital team (product, comms, eCRM, eCommerce), to support the business focus of moving from a B2B to B2C organisation, within the highly regulated NZ Tobacco industry.
“I can help change people’s lives, encouraging them to switch from traditional cigarettes to reduced-risk nicotine products.”
“An interesting choice of role for me considering I have never been a smoker, but an opportunity to be involved in changing people’s lives, in encouraging them to switch from traditional cigarettes to reduced risk nicotine products.
“Outside of work I enjoy running and baking, although not at the same time!
Coc-Cola NZ on board
Coca-Cola NZ head of marketing & design Angela Broad will also join the judging panel.
A shortlist will be announced on 14 November, and the winners unveiled in early December (date tba).
