AUCKLAND, Today: Interior decorating retailer Guthrie Bowron has appointed Waitapu Group’s Stanley St as their full-service agency – after a pitch – to manage strategy, creative and media – with the social media work awarded to Culture, also part of Waitapu Group.
The incumbent was dentsu.
CEO Siobhan Burke said: “Guthrie Bowron was looking for a full-service solution, which would not only deliver on overall financial and production efficiencies, but provide a one-team, one-dream” solution, with dedicated account service all under one roof, to seamlessly deliver consistent brand growth solutions.
“Stanley St plus Culture can do just this.
“Stanley St has its roots in retail, and we were able to present this full service offering with credibility and with a strong creative approach to their brief, which ultimately won us this great opportunity.
“Another great win for Stanley St, Culture and the Waitapu Group off the back of the appointment of Fisher Funds.”
Guthrie Bowron ceo Ed Connelly said: “We are delighted to be working with the talented teams at Stanley St and Culture, to achieve heightened awareness.”
Stanley St retail creative director Diana Hornal said: “Guthrie Bowron is an exciting account to work on as creative transformation is at the heart of both our businesses.
“This brand, and the retail story will be one we can both be proud of.
“The teams at Stanley St and Culture are looking forward to working alongside Guthrie Bowron to create great work.”
ECD Brad Collett said: “This is another great win for Stanley St, Culture and the Waitapu Group off the back of the appointment of Fisher Funds.”
