AUCKLAND, Tuesday: One of the year’s biggest TV shows is coming to Sky/Neon, and their marketing team wanted you to know all about it. So they phoned The Monkeys Aotearoa – and Phantom Billstickers.
The challenge: Create a sense of drama for the premiere of The House of the Dragon.
Sky marketing lead Olivia Bennett said: “Phantom’s in-house magicians got busy, and set up a show-stopping installation on our Symonds Street site that sees massive traffic flows throughout the day.
“You’ll encounter walls scorched by the dragon’s breath, a laser eye that penetrates the night, and a sensor-activated sound system that makes dragon noises when you venture close to the posters.
“Phantom and The Monkeys have helped make The House of the Dragon a hit – before it even airs.”
“Phantom and The Monkeys Aotearoa have helped make The House of the Dragon a hit – before it even airs.
“We wanted to create impact and talkability ahead of the Sky/Neon premiere, and Phantom has executed an epic build for an epic show!
“HBO’s assets create a visual and visceral experience that ensured the site was engaging and unmissable, whilst true to the show experience.
We love that the watchful laser eye and unexpected dragon roars have brought a part of Westeros to Auckland.”
