AUCKLAND, Thursday: NZME’s Newstalk ZB, along with MediaWorks music stations The Breeze, The Rock, More FM, The Sound, and Magic have recorded strong numbers in the latest GfK commercial radio ratings, released yesterday (scroll down for the link to the detail).
The Hits, Radio Hauraki, Flava, Gold and Gold Sport also gained listeners and grew audience share.
The results show 34.1 million people or 75% of New Zealanders aged 10+ listen to commercial radio each week.

- 72% of people 18-39 listen to commercial radio each week
- 78% of people 25-44 listen to commercial radio each week
- 78% of people 25-54 listen to commercial radio each week
- 80% of people 45-64 listen to commercial radio each week
- 79% of people 55-74 listen to commercial radio each week
- 78% of Grocery Buyers listen to commercial radio each week
- On average listeners tune in for 15 hours 22 minutes of commercial radio each week.*
