TSB picks DDB

AUCKLAND, Thursday: Following a competitive pitch, DDB Aotearoa has been awarded the business of TSB, with the 100% NZ-owned bank appointing the agency as its lead advertising partner. There was no incumbent.

TSB marketing GM Joe Bishop said: “As one of the country’s longest standing banks, we were seeking a partner that could help clearly communicate their unique position in the market, that would position them to achieve their ambitious goals.

“DDB Aotearoa impressed with their strategic thinking and creative firepower, that delivered a clear brand articulation that aligned with the ethos and values of the business.

“We’re proud and excited to have DDB in our corner.”

“Not only were we impressed by their strong credentials, strategic acumen and creativity, we also felt a connection with the team, who understood our business, who we are and our commitment to our customers and the community.

“We’re proud and excited to have DDB in our corner.”

DDB MD Nikki McKelvie said: “It’s great to be working alongside a brand that is so well established, having been around for more than 165 years.

“It’s an exciting time for TSB and we’re looking forward to helping them to communicate and deliver their brand ambitions.”
