AUCKLAND, Today: Following the Commercial Communications Council recent board elections which saw Lee-Ann Morris (MBM), Gareth O’Connor (Harvey Cameron), Mark Cochrane (Saatchi & Saatchi), and Sean Keaney (FCB), all join the board, the board has elected a new president.
Rob Harvey, ceo of dentsu council has been on the Comms Council board since 2016. The outgoing president was Publicis Media/Starcom ceo Alistair Jamison.
“It’s an honour to step into the role of president and play a more significant role representing the interests of our great industry,” Harvey said.
“Rob has been an active member of the board for several years and brings experience on issues that impact the future prosperity of our industry.”
“The Comms Council do an outstanding job for members and I’m really looking forward to working with Simon, the executive board, and the wider membership, to continue advocating for the power of our industry and the vital role it plays in the growth of Aotearoa’s economy.”
