AUCKLAND, Today: NZX-listed Argosy Property has appointed Freemans Bay indie Republik to lead communications & brand development – without a pitch.
Argosy has used agencies for special events – but there was no fulltime incumbent.
Argosy development manager Simon Brake said: “Outside of our close relationships with investors and our tenants, we have modest brand recognition. It’s time that changed.
“Republik has so much experience and category knowledge in the property and place sectors, that the decision to bring them on board was an easy one.
“This is a perfect storm and will allow us all to deliver our best work.”
“They have talent across the agency with a desire to deliver category leading communications, which is exactly where we need to be.
Republik director Craig Abbott said: “We’ve been working in the property space for more than two decades and see this opportunity as a real highlight.
“Argosy have led the way, delivering class-leading projects in New Zealand. They have a unique just-get-it-done attitude, with a refreshing intimate understanding of their client’s needs.
“We keep meeting great people at Argosy – they just keep appearing in meetings!
“So, we have the best people and the best projects combined with an honest sustainable approach to property development.
“This is a perfect storm and will allow us all to deliver our best work.”
