Transpower teams up with The Goat Farm

Owner operator of country’s National Grid, Transpower, has selected independent agency The Goat Farm to support its employment brand and recruitment strategy following a thorough multi-agency request for proposal (RFP) process.

The TGF team has met with more than 20 Transpower staff in Auckland and Wellington in the weeks following their appointment, including a visit to the Wellington-based operation control room to see the National Grid operations in real time.

“Seeing demand and generation rise and fall as people came home from work was like watching the whole country breathe… it’s a really special place,” says TGF creative director Vaughn Davis.

Transpower General Manager People Brighid Kelly says she’s looking forward to seeing what the TGF team’s work uncovers.

“We foresee ambitious growth targets to support rapidly growing demand for electricity with New Zealand’s journey towards a low carbon energy future. It’s an exciting time. Finding a partner with proven results in employment branding makes a lot of sense.”
