SINGAPORE, Last night: Special was a strong presence at the Campaign Asia Agency of the Year show, with 12 awards including Australian / New Zealand Independent Agency of the Year and Australian / New Zealand Branding & Design Agency of the Year.
Two Special New Zealand employees also received accolades with Jonathan McMahon taking home Creative Leader of the Year and Priyanka Patel winning Account Person of the Year.
DDB won silver for New Zealand Creative Agency of the Year and gold for New Zealand Digital Agency of the Year, and Social Media Agency of the Year.
“DDB won gold for NZ Digital AoY, and Social Media AoY. Motion Sickness was named Production Company of the Year.”
Motion Sickness won silver for New Zealand Creative Agency of the Year and Production Company of the Year.
Special PR was the only New Zealand PR agency to make the cut for New Zealand PR Agency of the Year taking home bronze, a strong recognition for its first full year of operation.
Special also picked up five silvers and bronzes in just about every category in the evening – Australian/New Zealand Integrated Agency of the Year, Australian/New Zealand Content Agency of the Year, New Zealand Creative Agency of the Year, New Zealand Digital Agency of the Year and Australian/New Zealand Influencer Agency of the Year.
Special was also awarded a bronze award for Australian / New Zealand Marketing Partnership of the Year in conjunction with Kiwibank. Special helped deliver a full brand communications overhaul and introducing new marketing platform This Is Kiwi.
