AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks has confirmed that ceo Cam Wallace will step down, leaving in the coming weeks. Wallace will start a “new role” in the middle of the year.
MediaWorks chair Wayne Stevenson thanked him for his contribution in leading the MediaWorks team to navigate the pandemic and supporting the business’s efforts to drive cultural change.
“Wendy Palmer has been appointed interim ceo.”
The MediaWorks Board has now announced the appointment of Wendy Palmer as interim ceo.
Palmer is an experienced media industry leader with 25 years under her belt. Previously she was Auckland regional manager at NZME.
She will help identify a new permanent ceo in the coming months, the process for which has already commenced.
