Shortly after GO Media and HYPER were welcomed as new members of the Out of Home Media Association, OOHMAA is announcing that LUMO is also joining the ever-expanding group.
Phil Clemas, LUMO’s Co-Founder & CEO, says: “LUMO has always been fiercely independent and singularly focused on all things digital Out of Home. After reaching our sixth birthday recently and recognising some positive changes within the industry body, we decided to formally step into the OOHMAA tent, to join all stakeholders in realising the full suite of opportunities Out of Home has to offer.
“In particular, we applaud the broadening of their membership base, developing a more inclusive attitude and a willingness to improve the exchange of ideas and experience across the group.
“We are also mindful that our 100 percent digital focus might help hasten a transition for the industry into the inevitable digital mindset necessary if the sector is to fulfil its potential. Naturally, we are very excited for the future of Out of Home, the oldest and yet one of the fastest-growing media channels in the world.”
Natasha O’Connor, CEO of OOHMAA, says: “Over the last few years, the OOHMAA and its members have consciously worked to create an association and industry that is inclusive of all operators and formats, so seeing that work come to fruition via the suite of new members, is very rewarding.
“With OOHMAA now representing approximately 90 percent of Aotearoa’s Out of Home industry, we are in a great position to continue our focus on growing the momentum that’s been building over the last few years and really capitalise on the development and innovation occurring in our channel. The OOHMAA and its members are thrilled to welcome LUMO as the newest member to join us on this exciting journey.”
LUMO joins existing OOHMAA members Ad-Vantage Media, Bekon Media, GO Media, HYPER, JCDecaux, JOLT, Media5, MediaWorks, oOh!Media and VAST.
