Hearts & Science NZ expands team as agency grows

Hearts & Science NZ, Omnicom Media Group’s fastest growing media agency, has appointed Amy Pountain in a newly created role as Head of Investment & Activation.

Named as one of Campaign UK’s Faces to Watch in 2019, Pountain will lead Hearts’ growth plans across the business’s investment and activation division. She joins the team with extensive experience in delivering high-quality investment solutions in media planning, buying, and account management.

“I’m excited to bring a fresh perspective to Hearts & Science NZ and to be an integral part of their next growth phase,” says Pountain.

During her tenure at independent UK media agency Goodstuff, Pountain led £30 million pounds of billings, across six agencies and 30+ clients. Some of those clients included Brewdog, Credit Karma and The Body Shop.

Rebekah Gierlinska, Hearts and Science NZ’s Managing Director says: “Amy’s relocation to New Zealand is timed perfectly with our agency growth. Her appointment delivers additional depth to what is already a quality offering, and her values connect superbly with ours! We are thrilled to have her join the Hearts’ team.”

Pountain officially joined the Hearts & Science NZ team at the beginning of February and has already made headways with a number of new investment and activation initiatives.
