For this year’s Anzac Day commemoration, the Royal New Zealand RSA has chosen Phantom Billstickers’ frames to showcase posters of the iconic Anzac Day poppy.
The RSA has long been a champion of the red poppy and its message of remembrance, and is committed to keeping its significance alive for future generations. This year, the organisation has chosen to display the red poppy in a new and impactful way, using Phantom frames to create larger-than-life street posters.
“We’re proud the RSA chose Phantom frames to display their message this year. Unlike other media, street posters make a public statement and deliver their message without interruption, day and night,” Phantom Billsticker’s says.
The posters also feature a QR code, allowing individuals to donate to the RSA on the spot and contribute to its important work.
Since its first appearance on Anzac Day in 1922, the red poppy has become an internationally recognised symbol of remembrance for fallen soldiers.
The decision to use street posters to promote the flower allows the message of remembrance to reach a wider audience and by using this time-tested medium, the RSA can ensure that the red poppy remains a powerful and meaningful symbol for generations to come.
