AUCKLAND, Thursday: Takapuna-based creative agency Hot Mustard Communications has appointed a new group account director to lead its account service team and grow the agency’s strategic and digital offerings.
Natalie Allen takes up the newly created role, coming from Kings Plant Barn where she was head of marketing for the past five years.
With a strong agency and retail background, Allen’s career has included marketing positions at The Appliance Shed and JWT Auckland as well as being a board member for Oke Charity.
Allen has previously worked at Hot Mustard, which specialises in agribusiness and B2B machinery industries, starting her advertising and marketing career with the agency 19 years ago.
“It feels like I’m coming home and I couldn’t be happier about being back,” she said.
“The leadership style of owners Paul and Nickie has inspired me since I first worked with them nearly two decades ago and I owe much of my career success in marketing and advertising to the foundational learning they gave me.
“It feels like I’m coming home – and I couldn’t be happier about being back.”
“Hot Mustard has consistently offered creative ideation, branding, campaign execution, media and web development over the last 26 years, but with the changing advertising landscape, my role is to grow the strategic support we offer our clients and add value to our digital marketing offering, while also looking for growth opportunities with new clients.”
Allen will be working across all clients in Hot Mustard’s portfolio including Claas, JCB, Boehringer Ingelheim, Agricom, PGG Wrightson Seeds, NIWA, Bayer, Beatty’s and Allied Medical.
Agency founder/MD Paul Bell said: “We’re so thrilled to welcome Nat back to the team.
“Her strategic abilities & commercial experience will elevate our offering to both existing and new clients.
“She has a positive energy that’s infectious, and we’re all very excited to embark on this next chapter of growth for Hot Mustard.”
