AUCKLAND, Today: Goodman Fielder and DDB Group Aotearoa’s new campaign puts Vogel’s in the spotlight as the “iconic and adored loaf of bread that Kiwis will do more for”.
Fate takes an unexpected turn when a grocery order is accidentally dropped off at the wrong address and our Kiwi hero, Gareth, embarks on a courageous retrieval mission from a somewhat intimidating neighbour’s house.
DDB CD Freddie Coltart said: “Kiwis are famously laidback about most things, but we defend our Vogel’s. This is a bread that sees Kiwis argue over the ‘correct’ toasting times.”
“The campaign is running across TV and digital.”
“So, when the neighbours accidently bread-nap Gareth’s Original Mixed Grain, he’s going to do something about it, like any true Vogel’s eater would.”
Goodman Fielder’s Jesper Poulsen, said: “This campaign rings true for many – those who know Vogel’s, know it is worth it.
“Nothing quite compares to Vogel’s. From all walks of life, we all can agree it’s more than just an ordinary slice of bread; it holds a coveted place as unmatched staple in the Kiwi pantry.”
The campaign is running across TV and digital.
