CANNES, Saturday In the final awards show of the week at the Cannes Lions, Special New Zealand took out one of the big AoY gongs – the Independent Agency of the Year/Strategy.
Howatson+Company Sydney took Independent Agency of the Year/Good, DDB Worldwide named Network of the Year and Omnicom was crowned Creative Company of the Year.
“Creative Brand of the Year was Apple, followed by Dove and Heineken.”
DDB Worldwide won its first Network of the Year award.
Susan Hoffman, chief creative officer of Wieden+Kennedy was honoured with the Lion of St. Mark; and the inaugural Creative Maker of the Year award was presented to legendary filmmaker/screenwriter/actor/producer, Spike Lee.
Creative Brand of the Year was Apple, followed by Dove and Heineken.
