Nick Ward joins Sky Originals as senior content commissioner

AUCKLAND, Friday: Award winning producer and development executive Nick Ward has joined the Sky Originals team as senior commissioner – non-scripted.

With 20 years’ local industry experience, Ward is known for a plethora of successful local shows including Cooks on Fire, Jono and Ben Good Sports, Goodnight Kiwi, Stand Up Aotearoa and Have You Been Paying Attention?

Head of Sky Originals Thomas Robbins said: “It’s a bit of a coup to have Nick join us this week. I’ve respected his work for years, so it’s great to have his talent and industry perspective in the Sky Originals team!

“His recent credits extend to the head of development role at Great Southern TV and as one half of acclaimed production company Two Heads.”
