NEW YORK, Thursday: Marty O’Halloran – an Aussie who ran DDB NZ out of Auckland until 2020 – is stepping down from the ceo role at DDB Worldwide. However, he continues as global chairman.
New York-based chief operating officer Alex Lubar succeeds him.
O’Halloran has been with DDB for 38 years – and his replacement in NZ, Justin Mowday, has been reporting directly to him in the US.

Omnicom chairman/ceo John Wren is quoted as saying: “Marty’s dedication to DDB has made him an integral part of the network’s culture and operations, and we thank him for his strong leadership during the past four years.”
