In a world where nearly everyone is always online, there is no offline.

Stuff and MediaWorks partner with Lexus Urban Polo

Stuff and MediaWorks have been named as the brand new media partners for fashion, music and sports event Lexus Urban Polo.

The two media companies have teamed up to reimagine and reinvigorate the luxury series, delivering style activations through Ensemble magazine and top NZ DJ sets through George FM, all wrapped into a central-city, day-long event unlike any other on the summer calendar.

The series will run in Christchurch’s Hagley Park on Saturday, February 10 and the Auckland Domain on Saturday, March 9.

From fashion to DJs, Champagne, engaging activations and divot stomping, Lexus Urban Polo is being taken to the next level.

Lexus Urban Polo managing director Simon Wilson is delighted to welcome Stuff and MediaWorks as new event partners. “Partnering together with Aotearoa’s top media brands shows the power of Urban Polo to reach a younger, glamorous crowd in a sport that’s growing internationally.”

He urges everyone who hasn’t experienced urban polo yet to snap up their tickets. “It’s an experience like no other, an unforgettable day of sport, fashion, music, food and glamour; a great place to see and be seen.”

Urban Polo comprises two teams with three players each, with games running for 25 minutes. Players ride and hit the ball while on horseback, aiming to score the most goals, with each goal counting as one point.

Stuff and MediaWorks will ensure the event engages as many Kiwis as possible, with Stuff’s leading digital, print, magazine and audio products reaching 3.4m Kiwis**, and MediaWorks radio brands reaching 2.4* million listeners weekly.

In addition to Lexus as the naming sponsor, the event is supported by Veuve Clicquot, Two Rivers, Peroni, Hugo Boss, and more. Ticket options range from Private Marquees for hosting to the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Terrace and General Admission, and are available at www.urbanpolo.co.nz
