The team, structured to leverage Stuff’s portfolio, includes new appointments and is geared to forge commercial partnerships. Jaana Collins joins as Director of Agency Markets, bringing strategic agency experience. Matt expresses excitement about Jaana’s leadership and industry connections.
Jaana’s appointment opens the door for Laressa Marinovich, named Director of Independent Agencies, a groundbreaking role reporting directly to the executive. Matt emphasises the significance of independent agencies in the advertising ecosystem.

Lee Piper, with almost two decades leading NZME’s South Island teams, expands his role as Director of Metro and Regional Markets. He aligns Real Estate and Events under his portfolio, focusing on key verticals. Deidre Bailey is appointed Director of Auckland Direct Advertising to leverage Stuff.co.uk’s audience in innovative ways.
Following the establishment of Brand Connections’ Harakeke integration unit, Andrew Reinholds becomes Director of Harakeke, driving creative solutions. John Buckley, a known digital agency leader, serves as Director of Digital Revenue. Andy Taylor is Director of Trading, and Fiona Hamilton, Director of Optimisation and Inventory, overseeing advertising operations.
CEO Laura Maxwell emphasises the investment in experience and specialist skills, creating a refreshed commercial leadership team.
