AUCKLAND, Today: Te Papa is set to unveil its monumental exhibition, Ngā Taniwha o Rūpapa | Dinosaurs of Patagonia, featuring the colossal Patagotitan mayorum, in collaboration with EightyOne & MBM.
This summer, the 30-metre-long dinosaur Patagotitan mayorum will be the centrepiece of Te Papa’s blockbuster Ngā Taniwha o Rūpapa | Dinosaurs of Patagonia, a touring exhibition from Argentina’s Museo Paleontológico Egidio Feruglio, challenging existing notions about dinosaurs.
To captivate enthusiasts, a creative campaign employs large-format outdoor sites across Aotearoa, showcasing parts of Patagotitan’s skeleton at a 1:1 scale, offering a glimpse into the awe-inspiring world of this incredible creature.
“We are thrilled with this clever campaign that truly brings to life the concept of pre-historic scale in an original and inspirational way.”
Bridgette Yates, Te Papa’s Marketing Manager, expresses excitement about the campaign, saying, “We are thrilled with this clever campaign that truly brings to life the concept of pre-historic scale in an original and inspirational way.” Integrated media provides actual-size proof on the streets, emphasising the true wonder of the exhibition.
