Liam McCarten joins StackAdapt to lead fast-growing APAC business

StackAdapt, the leading self-serve programmatic advertising platform, has announce experienced industry executive Liam McCarten has joined the company in APAC, and will lead operations in the region as it embarks on its next phase of growth.

McCarten has taken up the role of StackAdapt’s VP of Sales, APAC and will have the remit to manage APAC with an initial focus on Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Japan.

McCarten joins having worked at Meta for the past nine years, holding sales leadership roles in New York, London and Singapore. Previously he held the role of Director, Global Business Group APAC, leading the health, beauty, luxury and technology verticals, where he supported the largest brands and agencies across the region.

Singapore-based McCarten said he joined StackAdapt due to the company’s strong growth prospects, innovative technology, and commitment to client and agency centricity. 

“We are in a fascinating period for the digital and marketing industry more broadly. The changes clients and agencies are navigating are compounded by advances in machine learning and AI, resulting in a need for strong martech partnerships.

The StackAdapt platform enables advertisers to deploy their media spend across native, display, video, connected TV (CTV), audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home (DOOH) channels. StackAdapt entered the APAC market at the end of 2021, and the team has grown to over sixty people in the region, servicing brands and agencies.

McCarten has been a member of the IAB Southeast Asia and India since the start of 2022, working in the areas of digital commerce and retail media.
