San Remo’s latest pasta campaign unites Kiwi families

AUCKLAND, Today: Following the introduction of the We’re Family brand platform in 2001, San Remo is launching a brand new integrated campaign to shine a light on what makes up a modern New Zealand family.

Building upon its We Are Family brand platform and 2022 brand campaign, the latest campaign looks to explore the modern New Zealand family structure, how disconnected we have become, and how by engaging with each other over a bowl of pasta, we can bring families together.

While family meals have been shown to positively impact health and wellbeing outcomes for both children and parents, the distractions of the modern world can mean that quality family time over the dinner table is often sacrificed, with only 45% of families coming together for meal time*.

Working together with creative agency TheEmotive, and centering San Remo among the different variations of families shown, the creative demonstrates how “San Remo Brings Families Together”.

Depicting a disjointed family having a separate, lonely evening under one roof, the creative, thanks to the universal love language of pasta, shines a light on how they can unite together, by sharing a bowl of delicious San Remo pasta.

Featured across TV stations, digital platforms, social media, and out of home from now, the campaign aims to inspire Kiwi families to cook up their favourite family pasta recipe and get together.

San Remo has been cooking up 100% Australian durum wheat pasta for almost ninety years and is available at major and independent supermarkets across New Zealand.
