Sky News Australia is set to premiere a new short-form news bulletin – NZ Edition – hosted by Sky News New Zealand correspondent Jack Nyhof.
Starting tomorrow, NZ Edition will broadcast from the Sky News Australia studio in Parliament House, Wellington, each Saturday at 5.45pm.
It will unpack the top headlines in Aotearoa, providing audiences with a preview of the key issues on the political agenda for the week ahead.
In the first episode on May 4, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon will sit down with Nyhof to discuss issues including New Zealand’s foreign policy and place in the world, our relationships with Australia and China, plus the Government’s plan for cost of living relief.
Nyhof said: “New Zealand is an incredible country with stories that impact and interest Kiwi and Australian audiences alike.
“NZ Edition will be a weekly deep dive on the political, economic and social issues that are shaping life in New Zealand – including cost of living, crime and Māori policies.
“Sky News has a long history of reporting on and from New Zealand, and I’m excited to continue that legacy here from our Wellington bureau and across the country.”
