AUCKLAND, Today: New Zealand Media and Entertainment has appointed seasoned radio boss Will Maisey as Head of Talk for Newstalk ZB and GOLD Sport.
Maisey brings two decades of radio experience from both sides of the Tasman and has won several NZ Radio Awards, including Best Content Director in 2023. He spent over 10 years at MediaWorks, most recently as Content Director for The Breeze.
At NZME, Maisey will lead Newstalk ZB and GOLD Sport teams, driving innovation and strategy across all NZME platforms. He’ll focus on creating compelling talk content and growing the radio audience, working closely with Assistant Head of Talk, Ed Swift.
