AUCKLAND, Today: Digital news expert Daniel Rutledge is stepping into a new role as Strategy Lead and Commercial Editor with New Zealand Media and Entertainment’s CreateMe team.
With over 17 years in media, Rutledge has held roles such as Online Entertainment News Editor at 3 News and Verticals Editor at Newshub. In his new position, he’ll guide strategy and oversee commercial content creation for CreateMe, NZME’s in-house media solutions division.
Alana O’Neill, Head of CreateMe, says, “Daniel’s calibre and experience precede him. His skills and wisdom in the digital news and commercial content space will be invaluable in this newly created role.”

Rutledge starts his new role on Wednesday, 28 August.
