Industry-wide invitation to drop your boss from the Sky Tower

If you’ve ever wanted to challenge your boss to step out of their comfort zone, then the Graeme Dingle Foundation has the opportunity for you.

Recently announced as the new charity partner of social purpose agency UnLtd Aotearoa, together the two organisations are encouraging the industry to ‘drop your boss’ from Auckland’s Sky Tower.

The annual Drop Your Boss event is one of the Foundation’s main fundraisers and sees business leaders take the leap from the top of the Sky Tower, all to raise funds to empower rangatahi across the country.

It offers an opportunity for participants to confront their fears, just as the young people in Graeme Dingle Foundation programmes overcome their own challenges.

Jo Malcolm-Black, CEO at Graeme Dingle Foundation says the charity is excited to partner with UnLtd and the wider media industry across Aotearoa, to help reach even more young Kiwis who need support.

“Being able to access the talent and skills in the advertising industry is something that charities can often only dream about and we can’t wait to see the impact we can generate together.”

Empowering rangatahi

Sheryl Dunlop, General Manager of UnLtd Aotearoa says the agency is thrilled to partner with Graeme Dingle Foundation and help them grow awareness and funding for the critical work they do.

“Their passion for staying connected with young people, nurturing their resilience, and empowering them to overcome any obstacles they encounter is inspiring and effective.

“We know our industry likes a challenge and who wouldn’t like to occasionally ‘drop their boss’, especially when it’s for a good cause! This is such a unique, empowering and fun way to challenge yourself whilst doing good. I encourage everyone in the industry to get involved!”

Established nearly 30 years ago, the Graeme Dingle Foundation is a child and youth development charity. It reaches 27,000 people each year through research-based programmes aimed at building self-confidence, resilience and promoting good values and life skills.
