AUCKLAND, Today: Phantom Billstickers has launched an eye-catching out-of-home campaign for Mac’s Brewery’s Ginger Giant on Auckland’s Karangahape Road, celebrating the city’s vibrant culture and the bold new drink.
The centrepiece of the campaign is a striking mural crafted by Phantom Billstickers’ custom shop build team. The mural showcases the legendary ‘Ginger Giant’ and adds both flair to Karangahape Road and a touch of Phantom’s artistic creativity.
Alongside the mural, a large-scale street poster campaign keeps the Ginger Giant front and centre. Strategically placed, these posters make sure everyone in this bustling area knows about Mac’s new beverage.
But the real showstopper? Giant ginger hands, creeping out from behind the campaign, adding a touch of mystery and inviting passersby to feel the presence of the fabled creature.
“Our custom shop build team really enjoyed working with local super talented artists so that we could make this whacky, eye-catching campaign.” – Katrina Steck
“It was really exciting to partner with Macs for Ginger Giant as there were so many new fresh creative elements we got to play around with,” said Katrina Steck, Special Builds and Network Maintenance Manager at Phantom Billstickers.
“Our custom shop build team really enjoyed working with local super talented artists so that we could make this whacky, eye-catching campaign. Putting it up on Karangahape Road was the perfect idea and we got a lot of really positive feedback from people walking or driving past. That’s always how I know we’ve done something extraordinary is if the public chimes in because they love the work.”
This campaign showcases Phantom Billstickers’ knack for pushing the boundaries of out-of-home media, merging art, culture, and advertising in a way that truly connects with both the brand and the community.
