Investment in vertical video is on the rise, and TVNZ+’s Social Stream opens the door for brand, influencer, celebrity and partnership content to be delivered at scale with highly targetable, viewable and non-skippable impressions.
The new platform is an innovative, cost-effective way to amplify the reach of social campaigns on TVNZ+. It transforms vertical video assets into premium content that works on the biggest screen in the home.
One of TVNZ+’s greatest strengths is its ability to capture attention. Video ads on TVNZ+ are non-skippable, take over the full screen and are most often watched on the big screen with the sound on – delivering impact via the low ad load platform.
Amplified Intelligence research found that video ads need at least 2.5 seconds of active attention to be remembered, but 85% of online ads fail to deliver this because ads can normally be scrolled past or skipped.
TVNZ ran a test campaign for TVNZ+ Social Stream for the new season of hit local show Celebrity Treasure Island. The results were impressive, with the clickable mobile creative and QR codes on CTV boosting engagement with the Celebrity Treasure Island social channels.
TVNZ’s Chief Revenue Officer Valerie Walshe says, “TVNZ+ Social Stream delivers results. We’re pleased to be able to offer this new and exciting way for brands to capture more attention for their campaign, in a premium environment. It’s our latest innovation as we continue to make it simpler for businesses to advertise and build their brands with TVNZ+.”
