AUCKLAND, Today: Two of New Zealand’s most celebrated athletes, Dame Lisa Carrington and Finn Butcher, have joined forces with Generate and creative agency Krunch to inspire Kiwis nationwide.
With eight Olympic golds and a bronze, Dame Lisa is New Zealand’s most successful Olympian. Finn, a rising talent in canoe slalom, adds a fresh, relatable edge to this partnership.
“Lisa personifies long-term performance – and that’s exactly what we strive to deliver to our KiwiSaver members,” says Generate CEO Henry Tongue. Finn’s down-to-earth approach mirrors Generate’s commitment to helping Kiwis succeed financially.
Lisa shared her excitement, saying, “The chance to work with Generate to help inspire Kiwis to take charge of their financial future was too good an opportunity to pass up.
“We launched the campaign during the Olympics, using original footage from the first-ever trial bungee jump. This was a great juxtaposition to the professional sports coverage at the time.” – Bridget Taylor
“Their proven track record and ongoing commitment to drive results for their members is awesome. I’m really excited about what this partnership has in store for us.”
This collaboration follows the success of Generate’s 1st campaign, which celebrated Kiwi trailblazers with integrated campaigns across TV, outdoor, digital, and social platforms.
Bridget Taylor, Chief Creative Officer, explained, “We launched the campaign during the Olympics, using original footage from the first-ever trial bungee jump. This was a great juxtaposition to the professional sports coverage at the time.”
Elizabeth Harding, Head of Marketing, added, “The success of this work led to evolving our strategy to include our new ambassadors, Dame Lisa Carrington and Finn Butcher. We couldn’t be prouder to have these champions flying our flag.”
