Sling & Stone is starting 2025 with a bang by bringing in fresh leadership to the New Zealand team, appointing Emily O’Halloran as Integrated Account Director.
O’Halloran joins the fast-growing agency following two years in London leading integrated PR and social media retainers for Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company, including global brands like NYC’s Brooklyn Brewery, and the UK’s largest online supermarket, Ocado.com.
Prior to that, she held various agency roles in Auckland, working with brands including GoPro, Lego, Pals, Spotlight, Cisco, Sail GP, and Tourism Samoa.
O’Halloran says, “I’ve long admired Sling & Stone for its creativity, innovation, and standout reputation as an employer. Supporting ambitious brands, alongside such a dynamic and forward-thinking team, is an incredibly exciting next step in my career. I’m delighted to be a part of the agency’s continued growth and success.”
Sian Church, Sling & Stone Head of New Zealand says, “The New Zealand media landscape has changed drastically over the last few years, thus the type of work and briefs from clients is changing as well. Emily’s expertise, creativity, and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to build and execute innovative integrated campaigns that deliver results for our clients. We look forward to seeing her make a significant impact.”
O’Halloran will continue to build on the agency’s integrated work completed in 2024 which included the Lush Shower Swap, Tracksuit’s Top Culture Brand Moments and opening Aotearoa’s first green hydrogen network with Hiringa Energy.
