Who doesn’t love a feel good advertisement? And a cute cat. New Zealand Post has knocked it out the park this month and reigns the winner of the Colmar Brunton Ad Impact Award.
August was another good month in the advertising world, with Colmar Brunton testing a range of amazing advertisements. There can, however, only be one winner of the Colmar Brunton Ad Impact Award and this month, the honour goes to New Zealand Post with their latest TVC. The ad takes a similar style to their previous executions, further building brand cues that easily allow the viewer to link the positive associations created by the ad with the brand at key decision-making points in the future. It takes us on a journey with a New Zealand Post courier driver as he does his rounds and interacts with a local cat. It’s a feel-good story that Kiwi’s love talking about! The TVC stood out for its performance in the key pillars of successful advertising while also excelling in the following areas:
- Enjoyment
- Passive engagement
- Talkability
