AUCKLAND, Today: Lens Outdoor, an advanced NZ audience measurement platform, has formed a new partnership with digital out-of-home company Globox.
Lens chief tech officer Robin Arnold said: “This will see the Hamilton-based DOOH company use Lens’ technology platform to provide its advertisers with market leading transparency and proof of performance from their screens.”
Lens Outdoor, launched in late 2020, provides real-time traffic measurement technology – both pedestrian and automotive movement – via high-resolution cameras and unique number plate recognition technology.
Marketers and agencies can then access this information and live stream images of the billboards via a dashboard giving them granular detail on reach and frequency of campaigns, as well as transparency on the ad’s share of voice on that site.
Globox founder/ceo Allan Nicholson said: “Audience accountability was the key driver for adopting the Lens audience measurement platform for the business.

“We’re excited to partner with Lens as part of our Globox national rollout strategy. This partnership creates the ability for Globox to provide real-time data to our clients and gives us further credibility and the ability to supply complete transparency, putting us ahead of our peers in the same space.
“We are looking forward to working with Lens over the coming years and enjoying the benefits of such an intelligent reporting platform.”
Lens chief technology officer Robin Arnold said: “This partnership will give Globox the ability to plan DOOH campaigns, prove post-campaign audience delivery and offer all-round greater transparency and accountability.
“Advertisers are crying out for real and effective measurement in the OOH space, and Lens is the only system which gives that. This partnership gives Globox a genuine competitive advantage with the ability to provide accurate data across all their sites to clients.
“Lens is the perfect way to help this young and ambitious digital billboard operator grow its network across regional New Zealand. Digital OOH is immediate, flexible and dynamic by nature and Lens quantifies road-based traffic audiences in real-time like no other platform in the world, meaning Globox will have a unique positioning for their clients.”
