VideoTaxi (VT), a digital content production company, is embarking on a new phase of growth as it expands into the capital city.
With a dedicated on-site team, VideoTaxi is now offering its full range of client services in the heart of Wellington’s central business district.
This strategic move to open an office in Wellington CBD marks the most recent milestone in VideoTaxi’s ambitious expansion strategy, spearheaded by VideoTaxi CEO, Isobel Kerr-Newell.
VideoTaxi – which services clients nationwide – already has a strong client base in Te Whanganui a Tara including; The Tertiary Education Commission, TradeMe, Suncorp and KiwiRail. The launch of the bricks-and-mortar office in the capital marks an exciting new phase for the business’ growth.
To officially kick-off its launch, earlier this week VT hosted a Future of Content Summit in collaboration with The Chamber of Commerce. Presented by Kerr-Newell, the session spoke to key trends and predictions on the ever-growing and evolving landscape of digital content.
The on-the-ground VideoTaxi Wellington team will consist of Business Development Manager Tony Castro and Digital Content Producer, Amber Beaton.
Castro brings a wide range of experience to the role, previously holding strategic sales roles across a wide range of industries. Beaton is an award-winning music video, television, and documentary Director and Editor with deep creative and commercial production experience. Her recent work includes editing TV shows such as The Bachelor NZ and AMI’s Creative Living.
Isobel Kerr-Newell, CEO of VideoTaxi says: “As a proud Wellingtonian myself, it is wonderful to reconnect with the business community here, in the city where I began my career.
“Launching our second office in the heart of the capital has been in the works for some time now, so it’s very exciting to announce we are officially on the ground.
“It was a fantastic opportunity for our new team to connect with new and familiar faces at the ‘Talks to Connect’ series this week, and we look forward to hosting more events in the capital in future.”
VideoTaxi’s client roster already includes some of New Zealand’s most well-known brands and organisations, including Chorus, Countdown, AA Insurance and Animates.
The Wellington market will have the opportunity to work with VideoTaxi via the business’ pioneering subscription model to produce a wide range of digital content for marketing, social media, training materials, and internal communications.
