Special Group have been shortlisted as finalists in an impressive 13 categories at the 2020 B&T Agency of the Year Awards.
These include Advertising Agency of the Year, New Zealand Agency of the Year, Branding, Design & CX Agency of the Year and Independent Agency of the Year.
Special Founder and CEO/CCO, Tony Bradbourne, says it’s a great result after a year of hard work.
“Special was born in New Zealand 13 years ago this month, so to get 13 finalists across the group is a great little birthday present.”
Special’s ‘Good Morning World’ campaign for Tourism New Zealand is a finalist in Best Ad Campaign, Best Digital Campaign, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Content Marketing Strategy of the Year and the B&T Award for Bravery.
This follows the campaign’s success after its recent Global Effie award win and AdNews ‘Campaign of the Year’, amongst numerous other accolades.
Special Group Head of Client Service, Storm Day, says: “The continued admiration of the ‘Good Morning World’ campaign in one of our most important markets, Australia, is down to the brilliance and hard work of the whole team at Tourism New Zealand.”
Special Australia is also a finalist for Advertising Agency of the Year and Independent Agency of the Year, and its ‘Tonight I’ll be eating…’ campaign for Uber Eats is a finalist in Best Ad Campaign and Best TV Campaign.
As part of the rigorous judging criteria, each finalist must do a live 30-minute zoom presentation to a jury.
Live judging day will be done virtually this year and takes place on Wednesday 14 October.
