Scentre Group warmly welcomes Christmas with creative campaign

Scentre Group and Sibling have teamed up to bring a fabulously festive campaign across 42 Westfield centres this Christmas.

As 2020 has been difficult for many, ‘The night (way) before Christmas’ campaign aims to lift spirits and support retailers as the year draws to a close.

Revealing the secrets behind Westfield’s magical transformation, the 60″ spot shows several workers playing with decorations, indulging in mince pies, and racing each other with trolley’s of goodies, before standing back and admiring the dazzling display.

Scentre Group director, customer experience, Phil McAveety, said customers are saying Christmas will take on even greater importance this year.

“We feel encouraged by the growth in consumer confidence as we adapt to a Covid-safe normal and are gearing up for a safe, easy, and festive Christmas this year.

“We look forward to making Christmas magical at Westfield with every visit, from our Christmas campaign, our centre experience to our expansive retail offer.”

Westfield is the first choice, one-stop-shop destination for Christmas and it is important for Scentre Group to support retailers during this critical trading period.

42 Westfield centres across Australia and New Zealand will be decked out in Christmas decorations as part of the campaign, which will be rolled out across TV, radio, Westfield SmartScreens, PR, and social.
