AUCKLAND, Today: Boutique retail media owner Hypermedia has repackaged its national media network to offer brands unique access to holidaying audiences this summer.
Advertisers will now be able to deliver summer focused messaging to shoppers across some of New Zealand’s most popular holiday destinations including Paihia, Mount Maunganui, Whangamata, Taupo, Napier, Nelson, Wanaka and Queenstown.
Hypermedia GM Adam McGregor said: “The ability to offer networked advertising opportunities in these locations is a unique proposition as many of the aforementioned locations haven’t been a priority for mainstream out-of-home media businesses and don’t possess many advertising opportunities, if any at all.
“We’ve implemented a range of cost-effective poster and digital solutions at 400 seasonally desirable locations to give brands the ability to shift focus, increase their relevance and maintain a positive sales trajectory throughout the holiday season.”
“Out-of-home advertising is typically focused on areas of the country that have access to the most people, most of the time. It doesn’t make commercial sense for the big out-of-home players to deploy expensive media technology in highly seasonal locations.
“With over 1600 retail locations spanning supermarkets, shopping centers, convenience stores, liquor stores and fuel stations, Hypermedia’s ability to access regional locations is a uniquely strategic play and not directly comparable to any other network offer in market.
“We’ve implemented a range of cost-effective poster and digital solutions across around 400 seasonally desirable locations to give brands the ability to shift their focus, increase their relevance and maintain a positive sales trajectory throughout the holiday season.”
