After a decade at ColensoBBDO and a stint with Little Giant under his belt, Aaron Turk has returned to the Clemenger Group as Creative Director of newly transformed 99 – and he plans to take it to the next level.
Turk, as he’s more commonly called, joins just as the agency is about to tackle some of its meatiest briefs.
With clients such as Frucor, Spark, and Fidelity Life, being able to translate brands across every customer touchpoint is vital.
Mick Stalker, Executive Creative Director, says: “We’re stoked to have Turk’s energy and passion running around the halls. Anyone who has worked with him knows he is a creative force to be reckoned with.”
Having grown up at the forefront of the digital revolution, Turk has been responsible for many internationally-recognised and award-winning campaigns such as V Motion Project, Pedigree Doggleganger and Samsung’s Smart Phone Line.
He has experience across every sector and has been a driving force of some of the best creative departments in the country.
Turk says he was attracted by the reinvention story of 99 and having worked alongside a lot of the current management, he’s confident they will achieve great things.
“I’ve been talking to these guys for a while now and watching closely how they are steering the agency. There is a huge amount of opportunity here and I can’t wait to help take it to the next level.”
Managing Director Troy Fuller adds: “It’s been a challenging year for everyone but the silver lining is that it has helped us shape our offering with more urgency. The hiring of Turk is just another step closer to getting to the work that we want to be producing.”
