Flight Before Xmas

AUCKLAND, Today: Ponsonby creative content shop Pitchblack and Air New Zealand have created a new festive season campaign which aims to bring a surprise to Kiwi families.

Shot in Tauranga with real families, the ’Twas the Flight before Christmas activation saw Santa inviting kids to have a go a souped-up Air NZ ride-on plane.

Those who took a ride were asked who and where they’d like to visit this Christmas – and their wishes were granted by Air NZ flight attendants who appeared from behind the scenes with return flights.

‘Magical ride’
“It’s been a crazy year, so when we found a dusty old Air New Zealand ride-on plane in the back of the hangar, we were inspired to lift spirits this Christmas by upcycling it into a magical ride for Kiwi kids, ” says Pitchblack creative partner Kate Lill.
