TRACK appoints new ECD

TRACK Aotearoa has kick-started 2021 by appointing Aaron Goldring as Executive Creative Director.

Goldring has recently returned following more than seven years’ experience in the UK, starting with Ogilvy and most recently as Executive Creative Director at ENGINE Creative. Prior to his UK stint, Goldring held creative leadership positions at DDB and Proximity New Zealand.

He has been creating award-winning ideas and experiences via creative technology and data-led approaches for almost 20 years, delivering growth and commercial outcomes for clients.

Goldring’s appointment is reflective of TRACK Aotearoa’s drive to pair highly creative contextual engagement approaches with data to solve business challenges.

TRACK Aotearoa Managing Director Andy Bell says: “Creatively we’re always looking for new and better ways to put data to work in order to build stronger relationships between brands and their customers. That’s why we’ve lured Aaron back from the UK. Having worked with Aaron previously I know he’s the perfect person to lead the next stage of development of our creative approach.

“He’s super passionate about delivering great work for clients and a bloody nice bloke as well. Aaron is taking over the reins of a creative department that has grown significantly over the past 4-5 years and I’m excited about what his influence will mean for the work we produce.”

Goldring says he’s thrilled to be joining TRACK Aotearoa, having settled back into the DDB Group Aotearoa fold after living abroad.

“It’s great to be back at DDB Group heading up TRACK’s creative offering. With the Creative, Design, Technology and Data talent at the agency, TRACK has all the ingredients required to create world-class work. And there really is no place like home.”
