Almost a year after Auckland-based Beauty Media took over publication of The Beauty Book, they have appointed a new Editor in the form of long-time beauty journalist, Helene Ravlich.
Beauty Media relaunched The Beauty Book brand last year when they published a celebratory issue marking the publication’s 15-year history. As well as a whole new look and focus, the publication relaunched with a new business model and distribution network that sees it available all over the country via key magazine outlets.
As the new Editor, Ravlich will bring over fifteen years of experience in the beauty space to the role, as a beauty editor, journalist and blogger. She has an extensive freelance writing portfolio featuring numerous premium women’s fashion and lifestyle titles including Fashion Quarterly, Australian Vogue, Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar. She was also the Skin, Body & Wellness Expert across Bauer Media’s titles until the company closed last year.
“We are beyond excited to welcome Helene on board as our Editor-In-Chief after she became a key contributor for our re-launch issue in 2020. The publication continues to go from strength to strength, with over 300 pages of beauty and lifestyle content currently underway for our upcoming issue set to hit shelves later this year,” says Beauty Media’s Amanda Basher.
