TikTok For Business and Omnicom Media Group (OMG) have carried out a closed beta testing partnership throughout Q1 of 2021, to launch the TikTok Ads Manager platform for agencies and direct advertisers in New Zealand.
Being the first partner further strengthens OMG’s dedication to supporting and launching new products to OMG agencies and clients in the New Zealand market. During the beta testing, all OMG NZ clients across OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science were able to leverage the TikTok Ads Manager platform’s suite of targeting, optimisation, measurement, ad-formats and creative solutions.
Following the successful beta testing partnership with OMG, TikTok Ads Manager has now become available to all agencies and direct advertisers in NZ from 1 April 2021.
“Our ability to cement a beta test partnership with TikTok Ads Manager is highly regarded by our clients. We saw great advantages with full control to curate audiences, build creatives and leverage TikTok’s platform to optimise campaign performance in real-time, achieving cost-effective results for our clients. Following this success, we look forward to working closely with TikTok to drive continued innovation with their new ad formats and continue to deliver value propositions to our clients,” says Azriel Chan, Head of Platforms & Capabilities at OMG
TikTok has continued to grow in popularity with Kiwis, which has given brands the opportunity to create TikToks, not ads, that speak to the TikTok community and invite them in to join a conversation. On TikTok, marketers can place their brand at the forefront of innovative storytelling and creative content to connect with audiences in ways they can’t elsewhere.
“OMG are a leading partner for our TikTok For Business platform in New Zealand. It was a natural extension of this trusted relationship, to come together with the group to beta test TikTok Ads Manager, giving their portfolio of clients exclusive first access to this expanded range of marketing solutions. We are excited to work with OMG to deliver innovation to the Kiwi ad market, as we launch more ways for brands to be creative storytellers and meaningfully engage with the TikTok community,” adds Brett Armstrong, General Manager for Global Business Solutions at TikTok ANZ.
